BaBa Residences has always been a dog-friendly residence in Liguria, designed to welcome people and dogs as part of the same experience.

We do not believe in the concept of "pets allowed", but in a form of hospitality where dogs and people coexist in a natural, respectful, and harmonious way.

Set within a natural park of over 8 hectares, the resort has been designed to promote calm, balance, and well-being.

Open spaces, distances, silence, and contact with nature all contribute to creating what we call the energy of the place: a real, perceptible balance that dogs – thanks to their sensitivity – recognize immediately.

BaBa Residences is a 100% dog-friendly hotel and residence in Alassio, Liguria, designed for those who want to experience a true seaside holiday with their dog. Here, dogs are not simply allowed: they are part of the experience. From the sea-view apartments to the restaurant and the beach, dogs and humans live the holiday together, all year round.

  • Simple rules

    To preserve this harmony, we ask for a few simple common-sense rules: dogs cannot be left unattended in the apartments.

    We ask to limit barking as much as possible and to use a leash when necessary, always carrying waste bags with you.

    Within the property, there are two areas dedicated to our friends.

    Designed to offer space, freedom, and privacy for those who wish to enjoy quiet moments with their dog, surrounded by greenery and away from the busier areas.

  • Dog-Friendly Beach Club

    Just 100 meters from the resort is BaBa Beach, our beach club, awarded in 2025 as the Best Dog-Friendly Beach Club in Italy.

    The beach features 40 dog-friendly spots and various solutions, from wooden terraces with water misters to sunbeds and beanbags by the sea. A dedicated discount is reserved for BaBa Residences guests.

  • BaBa Beach Restaurant

    The BaBa Beach restaurant is also dog-friendly, allowing guests to share every moment of the day without separation.

  • The free beach

    There is also an authorized free beach where dogs are allowed to swim.

  • Pet Welcome

    Upon arrival in the room, every dog is welcomed with a dedicated bowl.

    A few small gifts and a personalized welcome message with their name. A simple but sincere touch that tells the story of our way of being dog-friendly.

Every night here helps a dog there.

You will be pleased to know that the entire contribution of €15 per day for your dog's stay is donated to the dog welfare project we support: Takis Shelter Crete.

We invite you to visit their website and Instagram page to meet the dogs you are helping with your holiday. In this way, your four-legged friend will lend a paw to those who are less fortunate.

Frequently asked questions from those traveling with a dog

Do you accept large dogs?

Yes, we gladly welcome dogs of all sizes.

Can I bring more than one dog?

Yes, it is possible. We have no limits, but it is important that they are respectful of neighbors.

Can the dog go into the water at the beach?

Yes, our dog beach is designed exactly for this. There are simple coexistence rules that you can find on our website.

Are there additional charges besides the €15 per day?

No. For us, it is a welfare contribution entirely donated to Takis Shelter.

Must dogs always be kept on a leash?

We are quite flexible on this, if the dogs are used to staying close to their family and are not aggressive towards other dogs.

Are there nearby walks?

Yes, besides the resort which has an internal road of about 1 km, we strongly recommend walking on the Iulia Augusta pedestrian road (12 B.C.) towards Alassio. It is 3km of highly scenic walking immersed in nature.

Can I take my dog everywhere with me?

Absolutely yes! Our entire resort is Dog Friendly and Alassio is among the most dog-friendly cities in Italy.

    The Baba beach beach is located only 100 meters from BaBa Residences

    The beach is not included in the price. It offers both Dog friendly and Human Friendly stations. BaBa Beach offers our customers (for bookings of at least 5 days) a Discount Voucher that can be spent in restaurant and bar services.

    Reachable on foot via an underpass of steps in just 5 minutes, you will find a staff ready to welcome you. You can book your seats directly online!

    BaBa Glamping, with its 80,000 sqm of park, offers ample possibilities to those who want a tent pitch.
